Trek stache 55/6/2023 Is there any reason to worry this bike doesn't fit me and I won't notice until i get it out on the trails? I'm kind of in between sizes from what I have researched. The bike felt comfortable when I rode it, but it is a 19.5" frame and smaller than what I am riding now. Is there anything in particular I should look for when inspecting the bike? My concern is that it has modified handle bars and maybe the original owner crashed it. I have checked if the bike is stolen, and it is not, the guy just bought it because he is well off and the original owner needed to sell it because of a bad financial situation with college. The owner is the second owner and knows very little about the bikes history with the first owner. I have posted a picture of the bike below, it appears to be a 2018 model, is this correct?īased on the situation I described above, would it just be better to wait until I can get a full suspension bike in 5-10 years or would this be a big enough improvement on the rocky trails to justify buying in the mean time. Is the price fair? If not, what would be a fair price. This Stache 5 seems like a good upgrade that I could be happy with for a good amount of time until I can upgrade to a full suspension bike. My current bike is beating me up on the trails. I have been wanting to upgrade my bike for some time, especially since I am getting better at riding and the area I have recently moved to has incredibly rocky trails, most people here ride full suspension only for this reason. I currently ride a 2007 Specialized Hard Rock Comp (Entry Level, Coil Spring, 3x8, 26" tires) with a 21.5" frame. I have some questions about if buying this bike is a good decision. Someone in my neighborhood is selling a used Stache 5 for $1,000 and I am considering buying it.
